Ministry of Home Affairs organizes senior specialist exam in 2023

This exam aims to evaluate those who have sufficient capacity, standards, and conditions to be appointed to the civil service rank, professional title of senior administrative officer or specialist according to the job position approved by the competent authority.

In addition, the exam also aims to motivate cadres, civil servants, public employees, and people working at organizations with special characteristics to continue to strive, improve their qualifications and capacity, and successfully complete assigned tasks.

Based on the list of candidates registered for the exam by ministries, branches and localities, the Department of Civil Servants and Public Employees, Ministry of Home Affairs reviews and makes a list of candidates registered for the exam in accordance with regulations, reports to the Ministry's leaders; and at the same time hands over the list of candidates registered for the exam to the Examination Council before August 10.

The exam will open at 8:30 a.m. on August 25, 2023 at Hanoi University. The exam will be held from August 26 to 31, 2023.

The examination council organizes the marking of exams according to regulations, announces the exam results and submits them to the Minister of Home Affairs for approval in September 2023.

Previously, in the 2022 exam, there were 1,057 cadres, civil servants, and public employees taking the exam. Of which, the central agency block had 626 people including: 98 department heads and equivalent; 212 deputy department heads and equivalent... The local block had 431 people: 68 vice chairmen of People's Committees and People's Councils; 193 department directors and equivalent; 122 deputy directors and equivalent...
