Ukraine's Interior Ministry orders security forces in Donetsk to open fire

On March 17, the Ukrainian Interior Ministry said that security forces in the city of Konstantinovka, Donetsk province, had received orders to open fire in case the situation became more unstable.

Ukraine's 112 TV channel quoted Ukraine's Interior Ministry advisor Anton Gerashchenko as warning: "If anyone in Konstantinovka takes up arms against the laws of the Ukrainian government and takes advantage of the accident to start a fight or clash, there will first be a warning shot and then a shot to cause injury"./.
