Ministry of National Defense inspects military rear policy work in Nghe An

(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of November 26, Steering Committee 24, Ministry of National Defense, led by Colonel Tran Van Minh - Director of the Policy Department (General Department of Politics), inspected the results of the deployment and implementation of Decision 62 of the Prime Minister on the regime and policies for those who participated in the war to protect the Fatherland, performed international missions in Cambodia, and helped Laos after April 30, 1975 and were demobilized, discharged from the army, or quit their jobs.

Accompanying the delegation was Major General Tran Tien Dung - Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 4. On the side of Nghe An province, there was comrade Thai Van Hang - Member of the Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and comrades in the steering committee.

At the meeting, delegates from Nghe An province raised the problems and difficulties in implementing Decision 62 and proposed to the competent authorities to continue to advise and propose to the Military Region, the Ministry of National Defense and the General Department of Politics to take measures to resolve them. The focus was on those who enlisted after April 30, 1975, to serve in the Truong Sa archipelago and to collect martyrs' graves in Laos; those who were soldiers in training units assigned to deliver additional troops and perform additional transport tasks for battlefields C and K, but there were no specific instructions to have a policy solution for these subjects.

Through the inspection, the Working Group highly appreciated the results of the implementation of Decision 62 of Nghe An province with many creative and effective methods, close to the practical conditions of the subjects in the area. During the implementation process, Nghe An province closely coordinated with local Party committees and authorities in the area to lead, direct, strictly implement and absorb opinions and directly explain a number of problems in the implementation process; At the same time, Nghe An province was requested to continue to promote extensive propaganda to the subjects, implement Decision 62 to ensure strictness, democracy, transparency, correct procedures, correct subjects, speed up the implementation progress, proactively and promptly resolve problems arising from the grassroots, avoid negativity in the process of reviewing documents.
