Vietnam and Laos Defense Ministries sign cooperation agreement 2013

On the afternoon of March 3, at the Headquarters of the Ministry of National Defense, General Phung Quang Thanh, Minister of National Defense of Vietnam, and Senior Lieutenant General Douangchay Phichit, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense of Laos, signed the 2013 cooperation plan between the two countries' Ministries of National Defense.

Speaking at the ceremony, General Phung Quang Thanh emphasized: The cooperation plan continues to contribute to constantly consolidating and developing the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the people and armies of the two countries.

Senior Lieutenant General Douangchay Phichit highly appreciated the cooperation between the two countries' Defense Ministries in 2012 and expressed his belief that in 2013, the defense cooperation between Laos and Vietnam will continue to achieve good results./.
