The world's fastest charger can fully charge a smartphone in less than 5 minutes
Chinese smartphone manufacturer Realme recently revealed the world's fastest 320W SuperSonic Charge battery charging technology, which can fully charge a smartphone battery in 4 minutes and 30 seconds.
The race for fast charging technology is becoming increasingly fierce. And recently, Realme has excelled by launching 320W SuperSonic Charge technology. With super fast charging speed, Realme has taken the top spot from Redmi, the manufacturer that once held the 300W fast charging record. This shows the constant development of charging technology, bringing users completely new experiences.

At the Realme 828 Fanfest event held on August 14 in Shenzhen (China), Realme made the world admire the new super fast charging technology. In just 1 minute, the smartphone was fully charged to 26% battery, less than 2 minutes to 50% and fully charged in just 4 minutes and 30 seconds, a new record in the mobile battery charging industry.
While conventional charging focuses power on one or a few battery cells in sequence, fast charging technology is smarter by distributing the current evenly to all battery cells at the same time. Thanks to that, the charging process is faster and more efficient.
At the event, Realme performed an impressive demonstration of fast charging a 4,420mAh foldable battery, made up of 4 stacked cells. This battery not only provides 10% more power than conventional designs, but also offers super-fast charging capabilities, helping users save maximum charging time.
In a promotional video on the social networking platform X (formerly Twitter), Realme revealed a very unique battery technology. The company's scientists have successfully shrunk and stacked the material layers of each battery cell, creating an ultra-compact structure but with extremely large capacity. This design is inspired by solar panels used in satellite communications, with 4 battery cells stacked on top of each other, creating a powerful and efficient battery block.
The company has created an ultra-compact power adapter, the “Pocket Cannon,” with a power density of up to 3.3W/cm³. The device can fast-charge devices like the iPhone with a USB-C port, but charging speeds will vary by device.
This versatile adapter supports multiple popular fast charging standards such as Universal Fast Charging Specification (UFCS), Power Delivery (PD) and SuperVOOC, providing maximum flexibility for users. With two USB-C ports, users can comfortably charge two devices at the same time, including a Realme smartphone (up to 150W) and a laptop (up to 65W).
Realme also introduced the groundbreaking “AirGap” technology, an intelligent voltage isolation solution that Realme has applied in its super-fast chargers. With this technology, users can completely rest assured when using Realme’s super-fast chargers without worrying about safety issues.
Using the principle of electromagnetic induction, the compact transformer in the charger converts the high voltage down to a safe 20V for the battery. This extends battery life and the charging efficiency reaches an impressive 98%.
