Adding members to the Prime Minister's Working Group on the peak of the fight against smuggling and counterfeit goods

According to the decision, comrade Trinh Manh Linh - Deputy Head of the Government Office is a member of the Prime Minister's Working Group on the peak of the fight to prevent and repel crimes of smuggling, trade fraud, and counterfeit goods.

This Decision comes into force from the date of signing (May 21, 2025).

* Previously, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son signed Decision No. 950/QD-TTg dated May 17, 2025 to establish the Prime Minister's Working Group on the peak of the fight against smuggling, trade fraud, and counterfeit goods (the Working Group). The Head of the Working Group is Comrade Bui Thanh Son, Deputy Prime Minister - Head of the National Steering Committee 389.

The Deputy Heads of the Working Group are members of the National Steering Committee 389, including: Comrade Vo Minh Luong - Deputy Minister of National Defense; Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Lam - Deputy Minister of Public Security; Comrade Nguyen Duc Chi - Deputy Minister of Finance; Comrade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan - Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade.

The members of the Working Group are members of the National Steering Committee 389, including: Do Xuan Tuyen - Deputy Minister of Health; Tran Thanh Nam - Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment; Trinh Thi Thuy - Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Bui Hoang Phuong - Deputy Minister of Science and Technology; Do Thanh Hai - Deputy General Director of Vietnam Television; Ngo Minh Hien - Deputy General Director of Voice of Vietnam; Nguyen Thi Su - Deputy General Director of Vietnam News Agency; Le Thanh Hai - Chief of the Standing Office of the National Steering Committee 389.

The working group is responsible for directing, inspecting, and urging ministries, branches, localities, and functional forces in deploying and implementing Official Dispatch No. 65/CD-TTg dated May 15, 2025 of the Prime Minister on launching a peak period against smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and goods infringing intellectual property rights (hereinafter referred to as the Official Dispatch); instructions of the Government, the Prime Minister, and the National Steering Committee 389 in the fight against smuggling, trade fraud, and counterfeit goods.

Directing the inspection and recommending the handling of organizations and individuals who lack a sense of responsibility, are negative, lax in management, assist in smuggling, trade fraud, production and trade of counterfeit goods, and infringement of intellectual property rights.

Request relevant ministries, branches, localities and functional forces to provide information on the situation and results of fighting smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods in the area and management field; and documents on violations when necessary.

Conduct a summary and evaluation of the implementation of the Official Dispatch; propose to the Prime Minister directions and solutions to resolve important, inter-sectoral issues to improve the effectiveness of the fight against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods; report to the Prime Minister the results.
