Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment requires provinces to report on marine environment daily
Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Nguyen Linh Ngoc has just sent an urgent document to the People's Committees of Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, and Thua Thien - Hue provinces, requesting daily reports on the developments of the marine environment.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment requests the People's Committees of the provinces to urgently direct relevant agencies to synthesize and evaluate the activities that have been and are being implemented in the area related to unusual seafood deaths and the results achieved in determining the cause; assessing the quality of coastal seawater environment with sample analysis results; and estimating economic and environmental damage.
Second, regularly check, collect information, and report daily developments in the situation of dead seafood; newly arising issues related to the locality and proposals and recommendations.
Regarding the above contents, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment requires the provinces to synthesize and report to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment daily.
Regarding the synthesis and assessment of the current status of seafood and environmental developments during the day, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment requires provinces to clearly report the time and location of seafood deaths, clearly describe the phenomenon of seafood deaths, types of seafood deaths, volume and quantity of seafood deaths.
For 4 provinces: Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien - Hue, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment requires daily reports on locations where seafood deaths have occurred and new locations, estimated damage to each type of natural and farmed seafood, new unusual phenomena must be described specifically and in detail for new phenomena that occurred during the day for seafood.
Similarly, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment also requires localities to fully report on the environmental situation in the area during the day, including information observed by the naked eye, felt about the environment in the area such as: sea water, color, smell, wind direction, surface ocean current direction, deep ocean current; scientific information on environmental developments (temperature measurement results, remote sensing images, satellite images (if any); report on sample results during the day such as results of monitoring and analysis of environmental samples in coastal areas: coastal seawater samples, water samples in estuaries, water samples at main sources of waste in the area (if any); sample analysis results: fish samples, seafood samples, sediment samples.
