(Baonghean.vn) -This afternoon, July 10, in Vinh City, comrade Pham Thi Hai Chuyen - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; representatives of the Ministry's departments and bureaus worked with the leaders of Nghe An province. Attending the meeting were comrades: Phan Dinh Trac - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Ho Duc Phoc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and comrades in the Standing Committee, representatives of a number of provincial departments and branches.

Before the working session, the Minister and his delegation offered flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at the Kim Lien relic site in Nam Dan. In front of Uncle Ho's altar, Minister Pham Thi Hai Chuyen expressed her respect and gratitude for President Ho Chi Minh's great contributions and wrote in the golden souvenir book: "We are proud to have Uncle Ho - the beloved Father of the nation. We promise before Uncle Ho's spirit that we will forever follow the path that Uncle Ho chose, we will carry out Uncle Ho's teachings, and take better care of those who have contributed to the revolution."

At the working session with the provincial leaders, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Member of the Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee reported on the implementation of labor, war invalids and social affairs in 2012, tasks and plans for 2013, and evaluated the socio-economic situation in the first 6 months of 2012. He also proposed 11 issues that need the support of the Ministry, and a number of policies and mechanisms that need to be specifically considered.

After listening to the province's report, Minister Pham Thi Hai Chuyen spoke highly of the results that Nghe An has strived to achieve in recent years. As a large province with a large population and the largest number of policy beneficiaries in the country, Nghe An is the leading unit in the work of gratitude. The Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee pay special attention and have issued many directives, resolutions, programs and plans on the field of labor, war invalids and social affairs.

The Minister also noted several issues: Continue to organize and effectively use state budget resources and social mobilization resources, regularly inspect and promptly correct errors in implementing policies for meritorious people. Pay attention to vocational training programs for rural workers, have policies to prioritize vocational training centers for policy beneficiaries, focus on improving the quality of vocational training and labor export;... Urgently confirm the records of war invalids, martyrs, youth volunteers, and meritorious people who have not yet received policies. Do not allow errors or wrongly certify subjects to cause social discontent, loss of fairness and democracy. The Minister clearly answered and explained 11 issues proposed by the province.

Comrade Phan Dinh Trac raised a number of issues that are still inadequate in the policy regime that were proposed during the meeting with voters in localities such as: the third generation of Agent Orange victims do not have policies, there are still many cases of war invalids and martyrs that have not been recognized because they do not have certificates, there are no cultural training facilities, vocational training for people with disabilities... On behalf of the provincial leaders, Comrade Phan Dinh Trac received and acknowledged the Minister's instructions and thanked the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs for the special attention it has given to Nghe An.
