Chinese Defense Minister Visits South Korea

Chinese Defense Minister Chang Wanquan will begin an official visit to South Korea on February 3.

During his three-day visit to South Korea, Chang Wanquan will meet with South Korean Defense Minister Han Min-koo to discuss the security situation on the Korean Peninsula as well as the establishment of a bilateral military hotline between China and South Korea.

Mr. Chang Wanquan is the first Chinese Defense Minister to visit South Korea in the past nine years.
