The construction of the Lao Border Guard Vocational School is extremely necessary to train specialized forces to protect the border. The school will be built in Tha Pha Bat district, Bo Ly Kham Xay province with an area of about 17 hectares. It is expected that the school will train about 150 students each year, and can also train border guards for the Lao People's Army each year.
Accordingly, the Vietnam Border Guard Command will assist the Border and Cartography Department - General Staff of the Lao People's Army in consulting on planning, design and construction.
