(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of August 5, before the 10th Party Congress of Military Region 4, term 2015 - 2020, the delegation of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Military Region 4 Command led by Major General Nguyen Tan Cuong - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Commander of the Military Region; Lieutenant General Vo Van Viet - Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Military Region organized a ceremony to offer flowers, burn incense to commemorate heroes and martyrs and plant memorial trees at Truong Bon Historical Site (Do Luong District).

Before the heroic souls of the youth volunteer martyrs at Truong Bon Historical Site, the delegation respectfully offered gifts, fresh flower baskets, and lit incense sticks to commemorate and express their respect, admiration, and deep gratitude to the heroes who “Died for the Fatherland”. Their lives and careers will forever be shining examples for today’s and future generations to follow.

On this occasion, on behalf of the Standing Committee and Party Committee of the Military Region 4 Command, Major General Nguyen Tan Cuong and Lieutenant General Vo Van Viet transferred 200 million VND to the Organizing Committee of the Inauguration Ceremony of the project to preserve and embellish the Truong Bon historical relic site and organized tree planting at the relic site with the gratitude and wishes of the officers and soldiers of the Military Region's armed forces to contribute to making Truong Bon more spacious, worthy of the contributions and sacrifices of the heroes and martyrs who devoted their youth to the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
