US Justice Department files complaint to defend Trump's immigration ban

The US Justice Department wants to reverse a federal judge's decision to restore Mr Trump's ban on people from seven Muslim-majority countries entering the US.

The US Department of Justice today officially filed a complaint with the US Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit, requesting to overturn the ruling of federal judge James Robart and restore the immigration ban, according to Reuters.
