Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism invites the press to monitor the implementation of Resolution 33

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism recently held a discussion with reporters from news agencies on solutions to implement Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW on building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development and Action Program No. 102/NQ-CP.
At the seminar, the units participating in drafting Resolution 33 and Action Program No. 102 introduced an overview of Resolution 33 with 5 specific goals, 5 viewpoints, 6 tasks and 4 groups of implementation solutions.
Deputy Minister Ho Anh Tuan said that the content of the Resolution of the 9th Central Conference on building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development, both focuses on solving pressing issues of culture and people, and orients the building and development of culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development.
Cultural and human issues are raised and resolved interactively and systematically in the Resolution, drawn from vivid practice, illuminated by theory and objective laws in the context of international integration.
If implemented synchronously from the stages of understanding, awareness, to action, especially with the innovation of thinking about culture and people, we believe that Resolution 33 will come into life, be the compass for all goals and actions for culture and people, from culture and people, so that "culture truly lights the way for the nation to go" as President Ho Chi Minh said.
In order for Resolution 33 as well as Action Program No. 102 of the Government and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to come into life and gain the people's approval and response,... according to Mr. Ho Anh Tuan, the active and enthusiastic participation of press agencies is needed.
In the coming time, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will coordinate more closely with media agencies, regularly organize professional exchanges, and create consensus to contribute to the successful implementation of the goals set by the cultural sector.
Also at the seminar, Deputy Minister Ho Anh Tuan called on the press and media agencies to contribute ideas and solutions to put the Resolution and Action Program into practice.
Deputy Minister Ho Anh Tuan affirmed: "It is very necessary for the press and media to participate and supervise the implementation of Resolution 33."
