Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism: Organizing "Cultural Environment - Tourism Day 2014"

In response to World Environment Day (June 5), the Department of Science, Technology and Environment under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with units under the Ministry and Hanoi organized "Environmental Culture - Tourism Day in Hanoi 2014" at the Vietnam Literature and Arts Exhibition Center (02, Hoa Lu, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi).

After the launching ceremony, youth activities of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will take place at Thang Long Imperial Citadel with the goal of protecting the cultural and tourism environment at historical relics.

Within the framework of the ceremony, there will also be an exhibition of paintings and photos with the theme "Green, clean and beautiful cultural and tourism environment". The exhibition will be held at M3, Vietnam Exhibition Center for Culture and Arts with more than 100 paintings and photos about the environment, culture, tourism and seas and islands; especially displaying the Green Lotus Sustainable Tourism Label Criteria and units that have achieved the Green Lotus Label title. Here, the Organizing Committee will also organize a painting program with the theme "Green Fatherland, Green Planet" with the participation of 40 students from Hanoi.

In addition, for visual propaganda, the Ministry also advocates hanging banners, billboards, posters, and slogans on environmental topics at agency headquarters and crowded places to remind everyone to take action to protect the environment.
