Ministry of Construction surveys and implements the planning project for Hoang Mai urban area

(Baonghean) -On November 15 and 16, the working delegation of the Ministry of Construction led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh - Deputy Director of the Department of Urban Development had a working session with the leaders of Quynh Luu district (Nghe An) on the survey and implementation of the planning project for the construction of Hoang Mai urban area.

Previously, the working group surveyed the actual construction of infrastructure at Hoang Mai Industrial Park, Dong Hoi Port, Road No. 3, No. 4, inspected the planning model of Cua Con residential, tourism and service area, processing area, etc.

At the working session with the leaders of Quynh Luu district, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh - Deputy Director of the Department of Urban Development highly appreciated the preparation work of Quynh Luu district through the implementation of the Hoang Mai urban area planning project..Basically, the criteria for forming a new urban area in Hoang Mai are now available and the legal documents are complete. However, through studying the records and surveying the reality, the Delegation also noted that Quynh Luu district needs to pay attention to some characteristics of the district's traffic system, the road and sidewalk are still limited, the map has not yet defined the boundaries of inner-city and outer-city residents, the lighting system is lacking, the water supply and drainage system and clean water supply are still limited... Therefore, the Delegation has requested the leaders of Quynh Luu district to promptly invest and build a specific development roadmap so that Hoang Mai town and 9 neighboring communes will soon be recognized as a type 4 urban area and move towards becoming Hoang Mai town.
