Ministry of Health announced 2 more Covid-19 cases in Hanoi
On the afternoon of March 13, the Ministry of Health received information on test results from the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology about 2 new cases of Covid-19.
According to the Ministry of Health, patient number 46 (BN 46) is a 30-year-old female, residing in Khuong Trung, Thanh Xuan. The patient is a flight attendant on a flight from London to Hanoi on March 9, 2020. On March 10, the patient had a fever and cough with phlegm, but no chest pain. On March 11, the patient went to the Aviation Medical Center for examination, then was transferred to the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, Dong Anh facility, where the patient was isolated and had her first sample taken for testing, which showed a positive result for SARS-CoV-2.

On March 13, the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology came to investigate epidemiological information, collect samples and test to confirm that the patient had Covid-19. Currently, the patient's health condition is stable.
Patient No. 47 (BN 47) is a 43-year-old female, residing in Truc Bach, Ba Dinh, Hanoi. The patient is a housekeeper in the building of patient No. 17 (BN 17), and had close contact. On March 5, 2020, after discovering patient No. 17, the Hanoi Center for Disease Control reviewed and made a list of close contacts. This patient was investigated for epidemiology, tested and quarantined at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases, Dong Anh Branch 2, on March 6, 2020.The patient's sample tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus. The patient's health is currently stable.
Vietnam has so far cured 16 Covid-19 cases and 31 cases are still being strictly isolated and treated./.
