Ministry of Health deploys first level 4 online public service
On August 1 in Hanoi, the Ministry of Health launched a level 4 online public service - issuing certificates of advertising content for functional foods and micronutrient-fortified foods under the authority of the Ministry of Health. This is the first level 4 online public service of the Ministry of Health.

Minister of Health Nguyen Thi Kim Tien emphasized that in recent times, the application of information technology to serve the cause of protecting, caring for and improving people's health has developed, and the community has initially benefited from the application of information technology achievements in medical activities.
“Level 4 online public services allow citizens and businesses as well as relevant officials and civil servants to carry out all stages of administrative procedures from submitting, receiving, processing documents to making payments and receiving results completely online at all places with internet connection. The service creates the most favorable conditions for citizens and businesses to use public services and monitor the activities of state agencies,” said Minister Tien.
The pilot implementation of level 4 online public services - issuing certificates of advertising content for functional foods and micronutrient-fortified foods under the management of the Ministry of Health will contribute to enhancing the capacity and efficiency of the Ministry's operations, contributing to serving people and businesses better and better.
Providing online public services will help save time, effort and money for people and businesses, and facilitate the management of state agencies; people and businesses can check at which level their records are being processed...
According to the Director of the Department of Food Safety (Ministry of Health) Tran Quang Trung, with this service, people and businesses submit license applications online and pay fees online. Officers of the Department of Food Safety process the application directly online, sign and return the results online in parallel with the advertising application confirmation sent by post.
Enterprises only need 4 steps to complete a dossier for a certificate of advertising dossier for food, functional foods, and micronutrient-fortified foods under the management of the Ministry of Health. These are registering a business account; logging in and submitting the dossier online; paying the appraisal fee online; paying the certificate issuance fee and receiving the dossier processing results online.
