Training on national defense and security knowledge for subject 3
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 21, at Nghe An Province Military School, the opening ceremony of the National Defense and Security knowledge training class for group 3 was held for the comrades who are Principals and Vice Principals of Vocational Colleges, Vocational Colleges, and High Schools in 2014.
During the 10-day period, 87 comrades who are Principals and Vice Principals of Vocational Secondary Schools, Vocational Secondary Schools, and High Schools in the whole province will be equipped with basic contents on people's war to protect the Socialist Fatherland in the new situation; preventing the strategy of "peaceful evolution" and violent overthrow by hostile forces; some issues of state management on national defense and security; some knowledge on building the Militia and Self-Defense Force, Mobilization Reserve; building a strong and comprehensive commune; contents, tasks, and powers of the commune level in organizing and implementing local defense and military work; combat operations in defense zones; documents on commanding combat at the commune level; transferring local activities from peacetime to wartime, studying security topics, supplementary contents on the current situation of sea and islands, etc.
Through the training course, the trainees are expected to turn the learned theoretical knowledge into the mettle and ability to lead, direct, operate, and manage the local military defense mission firmly, contributing to maintaining political stability and creating conditions for the socio-economic development./.
