Fire prevention training for traders at Giat market shopping center

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 18, Fire Police Department No. 4 coordinated with the Management Board of Giat Market Trade Center, Quynh Luu District to organize training on fire prevention and fighting skills for on-site fire prevention and fighting forces for small traders doing business at Giat Market in 2015.

Recently, fires at markets in the province have tended to increase, causing great economic losses. In order to raise awareness and responsibility of business households in fire prevention and fighting, during the two days of March 18 and 19, all traders in Giat market were thoroughly informed by officers of Fire Police Department No. 4 about laws, decrees, and circulars detailing a number of articles on fire prevention and fighting; common causes of fires and explosions; basic knowledge of proficient use of fire prevention and fighting equipment and tools equipped on site; skills to handle situations, completely extinguish fires, and protect people and property when fires and explosions occur.

After the theory part, the trainees continued to practice how to use fire extinguishers with CO2 gas and powder extinguishers properly, quickly, accurately and absolutely safely. Through the training session, the trainees were equipped with important knowledge in fire prevention and fighting, creating conditions for traders at Giat market to do business with peace of mind.
