Four Vietnamese students won prizes at the International Biology Olympiad
According to information from the Department of Testing and Education Quality Assessment (Ministry of Education and Training), four Vietnamese students participating in the 26th International Biology Olympiad recently held in Aarhus, Denmark all won prizes, including 1 Silver medal, 2 Bronze medals and 1 Encouragement prize.

The Silver Medal went to Le Thi Nguyet Hang (Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, Da Nang) with 294.87 points, ranked 47th.
Two Bronze medals went to Pham Minh Duc (Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted, Nam Dinh) with 277.24 points, ranked 76th, and Le Xuan Luong (High School for the Gifted in Natural Sciences - Hanoi National University) with 255.36 points, ranked 116th.
Pham Thi Yen Ngoc (Lam Son High School for the Gifted, Thanh Hoa) scored 229.45 points, ranked 164th, and won the consolation prize.
The 26th International Biology Olympiad had the participation of 63 countries and territories, with 239 contestants participating.
At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded 26 gold medals, 48 silver medals, 72 bronze medals and 24 consolation prizes.
The Chinese and American delegations led the tournament when all students from these two delegations won gold medals.
