Water tank collapse causes 3 students to die and injure

(Baonghean.vn) - At 2:00 p.m. on September 11, at Dien Thap Primary School, Dien Chau District (Nghe An), a serious accident occurred, killing two students and injuring one.

According to teachers in the school, at that time, when the class had not started yet, they suddenly heard a loud bang from behind the school board building. When the teachers ran out, they saw 3 students lying motionless and bleeding. Two of them died on the spot: Nguyen Tien Phi (2004), residing in Hamlet 6, Dien Thap Commune, and Truong Tien Manh (born 2004), residing in Hamlet 8, Dien Thap Commune, Dien Chau District. Ngo Sy Hoang (born 2004), residing in Hamlet 7, Dien Thap Commune, was injured and was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment immediately afterwards.

According to many teachers, it is not yet clear whether the cause of the incident was due to the water tank falling over or the children playing around and climbing on it. The cause is currently being investigated by the police.
