Without captain Thiago Silva, without the spirit of Neymar, Brazil still entered the match with determination. Right after the opening whistle, the yellow-shirted players rushed into the German field and pressed the visitors. But Brazil reminded people of a candle in the wind, flaring up for a moment and then going out.
After a few minutes of excitement, Brazil suddenly became a mediocre team in front of the Germans' mettle. In a losing game, Germany knew how to take advantage of set pieces to score points. In the 11th minute, from a corner kick, Kroos passed the ball to Mueller's position so that the best scorer of the Tank could comfortably tap the ball in to open the score.
The early goal caused all the morale of the Brazilian players to disappear. Instead, there was utter confusion. The yellow walls that the Brazilian fans created at the Mineirao stadium also became a huge pressure on the home team.
