Brazil: Football coaching is a profession with too high a risk level

Brazil is a country that owns world-famous legendary football players, but its football clubs are also famous for their habit of changing coaches like changing... shirts.

Statistics from El Economista (Mexico) show that football coaches in Brazil are the ones most at risk of being "outed" when from 2002 until now, on average, every 15 matches, a coach has to leave. Especially the Fluminense club of Rio de Janeiro city with 41 times in that period.

Meanwhile, American and Canadian clubs are where coaches have the highest "survival" rate, with an average of 88 games before being fired.

They are followed by English clubs with an average of 80 games. Other countries with developed football in the survey include Colombia and Mexico, who both change coaches after an average of 27 games, Argentina (34), Italy (41), Spain (42), Germany (54) and France (72).
