According to statistics, up to now in Hua Phan province - Laos, the grave collection force of Military Region 4 has searched for and brought back to Vietnam 2,122 graves of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died in the province, of which 132 graves have names and hometowns. In nearly 5 months of the dry season 2014 - 2015, the Special Working Group of Hua Phan province coordinated and created favorable conditions to help the task force of the Military Region organize 2 teams to conduct surveys, searches and excavations in 6 districts of Laos. Despite many difficulties in weather conditions, complex and dangerous search areas, and increasingly scarce information sources about martyrs' graves, with the effective help of Laos, the officers and staff of the Collection Team of Military Region 4 united, overcame difficulties, organized searches and excavated 11 martyrs' graves.

At the working session between Military Region 4 and Hua Phan province, leaders of the Military Region Command and Hua Phan province discussed and agreed on basic policies and solutions to direct all levels and forces to continue to coordinate effectively in carrying out the task of collecting martyrs' graves during the remaining time of the 2014-2015 dry season and the following years.

The Command of Military Region 4 requested the Special Working Group of Hua Phan province to strengthen its direction and assign cadres at all levels to coordinate and assist the Military Region's gathering forces in the process of carrying out mass mobilization work, respect and comply with the customs and practices of the local people, and do a good job of mobilizing the masses and people to provide information about the martyrs' graves, especially veterans, village elders, village chiefs, and people in remote areas, and areas that used to be war zones.
