(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 27, 2014, under the chairmanship of comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee continued its regular meeting in August 2014 to listen to and give opinions on some important project contents. Attending the meeting were comrades Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Le Quang Huy - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

At the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee listened to and gave opinions on the Action Program of Nghe An province to implement Resolution 29 of the Central Executive Committee on fundamental and comprehensive innovation of education and training, meeting the requirements of industrialization and modernization in the conditions of a socialist-oriented market economy and international integration. The Action Program is the basis for the Provincial People's Committee, provincial-level organizations and unions, district, city and town Party Committees to develop action plans, organize implementation, inspect, supervise and evaluate the implementation of Resolution 29-NQ/TW to create fundamental and comprehensive changes in education and training, striving to build Nghe An into a human resource training center of the North Central region.

Concluding this content, Comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee said that the construction project must be suitable to the natural, social and living conditions of each region, aiming to develop the province's education in a comprehensive manner. It is necessary to correctly assess the current situation of strengths, weaknesses and limitations to come up with appropriate directions such as issues of facilities, qualifications of staff, teachers and students... It is necessary to clearly identify solutions, goals, tasks and responsibilities of all levels, sectors and the whole society in deploying and implementing the project; pay attention to management and cooperation with colleges and universities in the area in exchange, scientific research and human resource training. It is necessary to focus on directing changes in the quality of mass education, high-quality education, key education and career guidance and link the implementation of Resolution 29 with Resolution 26 of the Politburo to strive to build Nghe An into a human resource training center of the North Central region.

Next, the Provincial Party Standing Committee listened to and gave opinions on the Summary of 10 years of implementing Directive 13 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on strengthening the leadership of Party committees at all levels in the work of disseminating and educating the law in the current period; and discussed the Directive on strengthening the leadership and direction of the work of preventing and combating corruption.

Concluding this content, comrade Ho Duc Phoc suggested that Party committees at all levels strengthen the Party's leadership in the work of disseminating and popularizing legal documents and include it in the activities of Party cells; regularly and continuously combine the dissemination of Directive 13 with Directive 17 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee.

Also this morning, the Provincial Party Committee listened to and agreed on the proposed investment plan to renovate Area B - Quang Trung Apartment Complex, Vinh City, presented by the investor Vingroup Corporation - a joint stock company. The scale of the project is implemented on a land area of ​​37,660m2.², investing in the construction of 2 areas: a mixed-use area and an apartment complex. The mixed-use area is a twin tower block, in which floors 1-5 are a commercial center, floors 6-21 are apartments, and 2 basements. The apartment complex consists of 3 25-storey apartment buildings, 1 basement, and 1 building for resettlement. The total estimated investment for the project is 2,392 billion VND.

Regarding this content, comrade Ho Duc Phoc requested the Provincial People's Committee to direct the advisory departments to quickly complete the procedures to speed up the project's construction progress; have a temporary housing plan for 40 households when implementing the project. Focus on compensation and site clearance, and mobilize people to implement the province's policies.
