Provincial Party Committee listens and gives opinions on VSIP Nghe An urban and service industrial park planning
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 3, under the chairmanship of Provincial Party Secretary Ho Duc Phoc, the Provincial Party Committee held a meeting to listen to and give opinions on the detailed planning report for the construction of VSIP Nghe An urban and service industrial park.

VSIP Nghe An Industrial-Urban and Service Park Project is invested by Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park Joint Venture Company Limited. VSIP Nghe An Industrial-Urban and Service Park Project is located in the Southeast Economic Zone, covering a total area of 1,475 hectares. This project is implemented in two phases, in which the total registered investment capital of phase I is 3,000 billion VND on an area of 750 hectares in Hung Chinh commune, Vinh city and Hung Tay, Hung Dao, Hung Yen communes, Hung Nguyen town (Hung Nguyen district); phase II of the project will be implemented on land belonging to Nam Cam Industrial Park, Southeast Economic Zone.

This project is considered the first complex including new industrial, urban and service projects in Nghe An province, focusing on developing light and clean industries: food processing, consumer goods production, electronics manufacturing and assembly, refrigeration, automobile assembly industry, construction materials production and other supporting industries. After this project is completed and put into operation, it will create a new face for modern industrial parks, attract more domestic and foreign investors, and at the same time form a green urban area and convenient services for people in Nghe An province.
The project has an industrial land fund of nearly 300 hectares, the rest is for other functional areas such as infrastructure, trees, public, residential land...

Currently, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has assigned Hung Nguyen District to carry out compensation for site clearance in Area IV, Phase I of the project. Hung Nguyen District People's Committee is organizing site clearance for an area of about 48 hectares to level the ground for the project's groundbreaking ceremony on September 16.
After listening to the VSIP representative report on the detailed construction planning, comments from departments, branches and localities, and concluding remarks at the working session, Comrade Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Duc Phochighly appreciated the methodical, scientific and proactive project planning. In addition, he also suggested that the investorVietnam-Singapore Industrial Park Joint Venture Company Limitedstudy the administrative center and public service areas, and the transportation system to match the future vision. He also requested the Provincial People's Committee and related departments to complete the procedures to soon approve the planning, creating all favorable conditions for procedures so that VSIP can quickly carry out the ground leveling work to serve the groundbreaking ceremony.
