In the 13th Smithsonian International Photography Competition, the work “Capturing the Sunset” by photographer Nguyen Manh Tuan entered the final round.
The Smithsonian International Photography Competition is organized by Smithsonian Magazine (USA) and takes place annually. This year, the competition has entered its 13th season, attracting more than 46,000 works from photographers around the world.

This year, the work“Catch the Sunset”by Vietnamese photographer Nguyen Manh Tuan also made the list of the most impressive photos of the final round. The work captured the moment a fisherman was casting his fishing net under the beautiful sunset of the afternoon.
Since 2003, the annual photography contest of Smithsonian magazine - a publication specializing in science, history, art and culture in the US. In last year's contest, the picture“Sewing fishing nets”by author Pham Ty won the highest prize in the category"Human"depicting the image of two women in a fishing village near Vinh Hy Bay, Ninh Thuan, sitting sewing nets.
