(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of July 10, the final match between France and Portugal will take place at the Stade de France stadium. Obviously, fans of every country want their team to win the Euro 2016 championship. However, the letter from the son of Manuel Disa - a Frenchman of Portuguese origin who died on November 13 in the terrorist attack at the Stade de Frande stadium has truly moved both France and Portugal.

The son's letter was posted on the Huffington Post website. The letter begins:

“His name was Manuel Disa and he was my father. In writing these lines, I want to pay tribute to him, who was taken away on November 13… He was very passionate about football and I am sure that the France-Portugal match will be a big night for him.”

The son said that his father, Manuel Disa, “was born in Portugal but chose France as his home. He was the embodiment of proof that integration is possible… He was always patient, respectful of others and had a free mind.” Through this, the son wanted to send a message about brotherhood and mutual respect.

“For tonight's final, for a match where players, whether they are from this team or that team, whether they are French, Portuguese or African, I basically want to share the message of respect for differences that I have the opportunity to share here, today.”

At the end of the letter, the son shared, “on Sunday your two countries will face each other just across the D door”, the location where Manuel died, and consoled himself that “at least you will have a special place to watch the match”.

Manuel Dias, 63, worked for a bus company. On November 13, he went to the Stade de France to pick up a group of fans. After the match, while waiting outside, he was killed by a suicide bomber. Manuel Dias was the only civilian killed at the Stade de France.
