February 7, 2012 17:21

In the warm sunshine, 7 young calligraphers demonstrated their calligraphy skills on a 100m long scroll of paper stretching along Van Mieu Street (Hanoi).

According to Mr. Pham Xuan Phuong, the calligraphers can write whatever they like, mainly sharing their thoughts, feelings and concerns about life, the recent Tet holiday or good wishes.

The calligraphy is written in both Chinese and Vietnamese characters with all four calligraphy styles: cursive, cursive, script, and script.

Anyone passing by Van Mieu street on the afternoon of February 6 stopped to look at this calligraphy.
