During 12 years of studying, Bui Hoang Dat has brought honor to the schools he is studying at many times with many high awards such as: Second prize in the Physics Olympiad in the 2012-2013 school year, Third prize in the province in Math and Physics in the 2013-2014 school year... According to Dat, to improve knowledge, you have to learn more from teachers and friends, but it is not as important as studying at home. In addition to class hours, at home I often solve different sets of questions to practice my ability to perceive questions and handle difficult problems so that when I encounter many different types of questions, I won't be confused.

Born into a family of civil servants, his mother is a teacher, his father is an officer of the People's Committee of Quynh Long commune, so from a young age he was given all the conditions for studying. During his years at Ho Xuan Huong Secondary School, because his house was 8 km away from the school, he had to stay in Cau Giat Town to study. Also from studying far from home, having to be independent, he learned how to arrange time for studying as well as other activities.
