Nghe An Post Office: Leading in providing public services

Nghe An Provincial Post Office is a unit that always accompanies and sponsors the Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth Football Tournament 2015, with the common goal of creating a useful playground, discovering and nurturing new factors for the province's football.

In 2014, the first year after the end of the support period for providing public postal services, despite some difficulties, thanks to proactiveness and specific determination to promote business development to maintain the public postal network and provide public postal services according to the technical standards and rates of the State, Nghe An Provincial Post Office has exceeded the targets of the production and business plan. The total net revenue of Nghe An Provincial Post Office reached 117% of the plan, a growth of 23% compared to 2013, the unit achieved the 3rd largest revenue scale in the entire Vietnam Post Corporation, after Ho Chi Minh City Post Office and Hanoi Post Office.

Promoting the achievements, right from the first months of 2015, all staff and employees of Nghe An Post Office have determined to promote the sense of responsibility, focusing on synchronously implementing solutions, especially solutions for market development, service quality management, innovation in operations... to strive to excellently complete the production and business plan targets set by the Corporation. As a result, many emulation programs, promoting service growth have been launched and implemented effectively. In the first 4 months of 2015, Nghe An Post Office achieved 32% of the salary revenue plan, a growth of 23% over the same period, being one of the units with a high salary revenue implementation rate of Vietnam Post Corporation.

Currently, in addition to providing traditional services such as delivery services of letters, newspapers, documents, items, goods, recruitment records, EMS express delivery and Postal Savings services, insurance sales agents for Prevoir and PTI ... Nghe An Provincial Post Office has been expanding the provision of other delivery services, in which public administrative services are given top priority. The services provided by Nghe An Provincial Post Office are diverse, high quality, and convenient to meet the increasing demands of customers.

The Provincial Post Office has coordinated with the Social Insurance of Nghe An province to deploy services of paying pensions and social insurance benefits, collecting voluntary social insurance and health insurance; coordinated with the Nghe An Provincial Police to deploy services of delivering identity cards, household registration books, certificates of security and order eligibility, vehicle registration papers; coordinated with the Department of Transport to deploy services of delivering driver's licenses, delivering documents for issuing and renewing driver's licenses; coordinated with the Department of Justice to deploy services of delivering criminal records and coordinated with other departments, branches and sectors to deploy public administrative delivery services. The public administrative delivery services of Nghe An Provincial Post Office, when deployed, have received consensus and support from authorities at all levels and related sectors and received positive feedback from a large number of people.

Especially for public services, in 2015, Nghe An Provincial Post Office continued to coordinate with Nghe An Provincial Department of Transport to expand the service of receiving and delivering documents for issuing and exchanging driving licenses for motorbikes from January 1, 2015. Currently, according to the regulations on the roadmap for issuing and exchanging driving licenses of the Ministry of Transport, car driving licenses must be converted to Pet licenses before December 31, 2015 and motorbike driving licenses issued before 2003 must be converted before December 31, 2016. Therefore, opening this service will help people save time and travel costs, while contributing to reforming administrative procedures, creating favorable conditions for people in using public services.

From January 15, 2015, Nghe An Post Office in coordination with the Provincial Social Insurance launched the Social Insurance Document Delivery Service. Accordingly, the Provincial Post Office will receive documents and return the results of social insurance and health insurance procedures between employers and social insurance agencies. This once again affirms the efforts of Nghe An Post Office in the process of working with departments and branches in the whole province to gradually improve the efficiency of public administrative procedures in the province.

In addition to focusing on directing the promotion of production, business, and improving service quality, Nghe An Provincial Post Office regularly cares for the spiritual life of employees in the unit. With the tradition of "The affection of the Postal Industry", the collective of cadres and employees in the unit are always ready to share with employees in especially difficult circumstances.

In the spirit of sharing and affection, recently, the Executive Committee of the Provincial Post Office Trade Union has sent a letter calling on all cadres, union members, and employees (with a labor contract of 11 months or more) to reduce their spending and share the difficulties with the special circumstances of the family of Mr. Dao Xuan Thai - a commune distribution employee and Cultural Post Office, residing in Tan Son commune, Do Luong district, who has a serious illness. The call has had a strong and widespread influence among the staff, employees, and workers of Nghe An Provincial Post Office. As a result, the amount of contribution was 18.73 million VND, which was immediately transferred by the professional leaders, the Provincial Post Office Trade Union and Do Luong district to visit, encourage, and give the above amount to Mr. Thai's family, in the great emotion of Mr. Thai and his family.

Not only sharing and being responsible for the particularly difficult circumstances of workers within the industry, Nghe An Post Office also actively participates in social activities, considering it as a way of showing gratitude and sharing with society, aiming at the goal of building a beautiful and compassionate society. Recently, in the days before the Lunar New Year of At Mui 2015, Nghe An Post Office and Nghe An Newspaper traveled hundreds of kilometers to the West to give Tet gifts to poor and needy families so that people could have a warmer and more complete traditional Tet. And at this time, when the school year has just ended, the phoenix trees have lit fires, to create a useful playground for children when summer comes, the Provincial Post Office has joined Nghe An Newspaper to organize the 19th Nghe An Newspaper Cup youth and children's football tournament.
