Nghe An Post Office: Innovating production and effective business

In order to effectively implement the policy of comprehensive transformation of production and business, every year, right from the beginning of the year, Nghe An Provincial Post Office has synchronously deployed programs, closely following business goals, promoting emulation movements, creativity, striving to overcome all difficulties to excellently perform production and business tasks. Under the leadership and close direction of the leaders of Vietnam Post Corporation, the facilitation and attention of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee and the support of departments, branches and localities, together with the efforts of the collective leadership of the Provincial Post Office and all officers, employees and workers, over the past years, Nghe An Provincial Post Office has exceeded the targets of production and business plans, the income of employees of Nghe An Provincial Post Office has improved and increased gradually in recent years, contributing to motivating, encouraging and creating motivation for employees and workers to love their profession more, work enthusiastically and creatively, and be more attached to their work and work unit.

Currently, in addition to providing traditional services such as delivery of letters, newspapers, documents, items, goods, recruitment records, EMS express delivery, etc., Nghe An Provincial Post Office has been expanding its provision of other delivery services, prioritizing public administrative services. The services provided by Nghe An Provincial Post Office are increasingly diverse to meet the increasing demands of customers. The Provincial Post Office has coordinated with the Provincial Police to deploy delivery services for identity cards, household registration books, certificates of eligibility for security and order, vehicle registration; coordinated with the Department of Transport to deploy delivery services for driver's licenses, delivery of documents for issuance and renewal of driver's licenses; coordinated with the Department of Justice to deploy delivery services for judicial records and coordinated with other departments and branches to deploy public administrative delivery services. Although these services have only been deployed for a short time, they have received consensus and support from authorities at all levels and related sectors and positive feedback from the majority of people.

In addition, Nghe An Provincial Post Office also effectively exploits sales channels, develops services that bring many benefits to the masses. One of the services that the unit is currently deploying on the network is the Postal Savings service, attracting idle money from the population. In addition to serving people at transaction points, Nghe An Provincial Post Office is currently providing services at customer addresses on all days of the week. With emulation programs to promote service development and effective customer care, Nghe An Provincial Post Office is leading the entire Vietnam Post Corporation in developing Postal Savings services. In addition, the Post Office also provides services such as PTI non-life insurance, Prevoir life insurance, collection and payment services for partners, flower delivery, airline ticket sales agency, telecommunications SIM card sales, AVG satellite television services.

Focus on improving service quality

In the process of providing services, Nghe An Provincial Post Office focuses on improving the quality of services, improving service manners, and enhancing customer care. The services provided by Nghe An Provincial Post Office have truly met the needs of the people, brought practical benefits to people's lives, provided and promptly conveyed the Party's guidelines and policies, economic, cultural and social information, contributing to the development of the local economy and society. Up to now, the services provided by Nghe An Provincial Post Office basically meet the quality announced by VNPost, especially the criteria for public postal services have met and exceeded the regulations in the National Standards on Public Services.

At the same time, 2014 is the peak year for Nghe An Provincial Post Office to focus on repairing, renovating, upgrading and equipping signs for 358 cultural post offices and post offices as approved by Vietnam Post Corporation; focusing on directing professional organizations, Trade Unions, Youth Unions, and units to effectively implement the "Green Sunday" movement throughout the network.

The upgrading and refurbishment of service points is an extremely important activity in contributing to the successful implementation of the national target program on new rural construction in Nghe An province with all levels, sectors and localities, creating a foundation for Nghe An Provincial Post Office to expand its services in the coming time. This is one of the major achievements of the unit in 2014, contributing to welcoming the Party Congresses at all levels.

Focus on applying science and technology, rationalizing production

In recent years, the professional leaders and the Trade Union of Nghe An Province Post Office have regularly paid attention to and directed the application of science and technology and innovation movements. The annual innovation movements of the Provincial Post Office have mobilized a large number of staff to actively participate and achieve high quality. In addition, the scientific and technological innovation movement has promoted collective labor intelligence, contributing to improving the efficiency of management and production and business of the Provincial Post Office.

2010 - 2012 period: more than 237 initiatives were recognized as grassroots initiatives, of which 8 initiatives won prizes at the Corporation level, 6 at the Group level. In particular, some initiatives of Nghe An Provincial Post Office won high awards such as the Project "Building customer data management software to improve sales efficiency" won the Third Prize at the Corporation level, the Second Prize at the Corporation level and the First Prize at the Nghe An Provincial Science and Technology Innovation in 2012. The Project "System of 10 solutions to dominate the market of Postal Savings services in Thanh Chuong district, Nghe An province" won the Second Prize at the Corporation level, the Third Prize at the Corporation level in 2012.

In 2013, there were 73 innovative solutions from 257 participants, of which 9 solutions were recognized and rewarded at the Corporation level.

In 2014, the Provincial Post Office continued to launch an initiative movement to rationalize production throughout the unit. In the first 6 months of 2014, 7 initiatives were recognized at the Corporation level. The Provincial Post Office continued to select 9 solutions to send to the Corporation-level Initiative Council for recognition in the second phase, the last 6 months of the year.

With the dynamism in innovation of thinking, creative efforts in production and business activities, Nghe An Provincial Post Office has been gradually affirming its leading role in providing public services to Party agencies, government and the masses, meeting all customer needs. In the period from 2010 to present, the unit has continuously completed excellently its production, business and service tasks in Nghe An province.

With its outstanding achievements, Nghe An Provincial Post Office has been awarded many noble titles such as: 3 consecutive years (2009 - 2011) being awarded the Emulation Flag of the Prime Minister; in 2012 being awarded the Certificate of Merit for the period 2010 - 2012 by the Prime Minister; In 2013, 2014 Nghe An Provincial Post Office was honored to be awarded the Emulation Flag of the Prime Minister. Continuously every year (2010 - 2014) being awarded the Emulation Flag of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

In 2015, Nghe An Provincial Post Office determined to continue to closely follow the development orientation of Vietnam Post Corporation and the socio-economic development goals of the province, to further gain the attention and direction of the leaders of the Corporation, the provincial leaders, the support of departments, branches, localities, the trust of customers and people to continue to mobilize to the maximum, effectively use resources, strive to become a leading unit in providing public services in Nghe An province.
