Nghe An Post Office received the Government's Excellent Emulation Flag

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of December 26, in Vinh City, Nghe An Provincial Post Office held a conference to review business performance in 2013, deploy plans, tasks and solutions for 2014. Attending the conference were Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of the Vietnam Post Corporation, and a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

Comrade Huynh Thanh Dien awarded the Government's excellent emulation flag to Nghe An Post Office and Thanh Chuong District Post Office.

In 2013, Nghe An Post Office staff and workers have strived to successfully complete production and business tasks. All targets have been achieved and exceeded the set plan. Total net revenue reached 137.4 billion VND, reaching 104% of the plan, up 18% over the same period last year. Total revenue generated was 130.6 billion VND, reaching 107% of the plan, up 19% over 2012. Total revenue calculated as salary was 100.8 billion VND, reaching 110% of the plan, up 16% over 2012; average salary reached 6.5 million VND/person/month (up 23%) over 2012.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Huynh Thanh Dien acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the efforts, dynamism, innovation in business methods, opening new services, promoting the development of key services; developing the market. Effectively implementing emulation programs, promotional programs, customer care, measures to increase market share and customers; Innovating the management work, organizing and implementing uniformly from the provincial post office to the units, closely monitoring the progress and supporting the implementation throughout the network. Successfully implementing pension payment and social insurance benefits services in all districts, cities and towns in the province.

2014 is the first year that Vietnam Post Corporation operates after completing the period of supporting the provision of public postal services, but the target must be to achieve a profit equivalent to 0.5% of charter capital. Based on the production and business plan assigned by the Corporation, Nghe An Post Office determines the tasks and targets for 2014 to promptly and effectively implement right from the beginning of the year. Continue to innovate operations, ensure to meet public services in Nghe An province according to national standards and public postal services. Continue to implement quality improvement programs, strengthen inspection of compliance with processes, regulations, procedures, and operations at all stages and services; compliance with public posting of prices, quality standards, equipment at transaction points, etc.

With the results achieved last year, Nghe An Post Office and Thanh Chuong District Post Office were honored to receive the Flag of Excellent Emulation Unit in 2013 from the Government and the Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister for many achievements in the period 2010-2012.
