Suspicious package sent to South Korean Defense Minister
AFP reported that on April 23, South Korean Defense Minister Kim Kwan-Jin received a package containing a threatening letter and suspicious powder.
The ministry considered this a failed act of "terrorism".
A Ministry of Defence spokesman said: "The parcel contained a suspicious white powder and an investigation has been launched to trace its origin."

The package was delivered a day after hundreds of threatening leaflets were found outside the office of Minister Kim Kwan-Jin.
The content of these leaflets condemned Mr. Kim for having a tough stance towards North Korea, which made this minister the focus of attacks from Pyongyang./.
