Both Binh Duong coach and players were expelled from V-League 2018
The former champion team drew 3-3 with Thanh Hoa in round 5 of the Nuti Cafe' V-League 2018 on the afternoon of April 15.

In the 64th minute, Binh Duong striker dribbled the ball in the penalty area and was tripped but referee Nguyen Minh Thuan waved his hand. Coach Tran Minh Chien angrily threw a water bottle in protest. Also from the situation where no penalty was called, Thanh Hoa players launched an attack and scored an equalizer 3-3 right after thanks to striker Omar.
After being scored against by the away team, coach Tran Minh Chien continued to react and was dismissed by the referee.
