Singer Duc Phuc was moved and proud to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister.

On the afternoon of September 26, at the Office of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong, authorized by the Prime Minister, presented a Certificate of Merit to singer Nguyen Duc Phuc.

Accordingly, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh signed Decision No. 2135/QD-TTg dated September 26, 2025 on awarding the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit to singer Nguyen Duc Phuc for his outstanding achievement in winning the Championship of the Intervision 2025 International Music Competition, held in Moscow, Russian Federation.

Previously, upon receiving the news that singer Duc Phuc - Vietnam's representative - had won the championship at the Intervision 2025 International Music Competition, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent a letter of congratulations and commended the great efforts and outstanding achievements of singer Duc Phuc.

In a letter to singer Duc Phuc and music lovers, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh wrote: "We are very pleased to receive the news that singer Duc Phuc, representing Vietnam, has just won the championship title at the Intervision 2025 International Music Competition, a prestigious music event that brings together many of the world's top talents in Moscow, Russia.

On behalf of the Government, I warmly congratulate and commend the great efforts and outstanding achievements of singer Duc Phuc with his powerful voice and eye-catching performance, breathing life into the song Phu Dong Thien Vuong, inspired by the poem Tre Viet Nam, telling the story of the strength of solidarity, indomitable spirit and aspiration to rise of the Vietnamese people.

This achievement is not only a great honor for singer Duc Phuc personally but also a source of pride for the contemporary music and culture of Vietnam. Vietnam's participation for the first time at the Intervision 2025 International Music Competition after more than 40 years of interruption has conveyed the message of solidarity and friendship when "music overcomes all disagreements to unite peoples around the world". We hope and believe that this victory at Intervision 2025 will be the driving force for singer Duc Phuc in particular and the Vietnamese artists in general to continue to promote their talents, constantly create, make positive contributions to the country's music industry and promote Vietnamese culture to the world, while creating a strong inspiration for Vietnamese youth to continue to dedicate and create, contributing the quintessence of Vietnam to the flow of human civilization".

The Prime Minister wished singer Duc Phuc and the Vietnamese artists good health and energy to devote themselves to serving the public at home and abroad, so that the Vietnamese mark will be loved and engraved in the hearts of audiences around the world.

Sharing after receiving the Certificate of Merit at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, singer Duc Phuc said: "Duc Phuc was extremely moved and proud when, as soon as he landed in Vietnam, he received this prestigious recognition and encouragement. This is the greatest happiness and honor in his career. Duc Phuc and all the brothers and sisters of the Vietnamese team would like to sincerely thank Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh for his love and valuable recognition for him and the entire Vietnamese team."

Early morning of September 26, the flight carrying the Vietnamese art troupe participating in the Intervision 2025 International Music Competition landed at Noi Bai Airport. Singer Duc Phuc - Champion of Intervision 2025 and his crew returned to the warm welcome of a large audience, relatives and the press.

Mr. Ha Minh Thang - Deputy Director of the Department of Performing Arts, Head of the Vietnamese delegation attending Intervision 2025, went to the airport to welcome the delegation. In his joy, Mr. Thang affirmed that Duc Phuc's victory was not only the honor of the individual artist but also the common achievement of the entire delegation, the close direction of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the companionship and encouragement of the audience nationwide.

Amidst the resounding cheers, Duc Phuc emotionally thanked his hometown audience: “I am truly happy to bring this victory back to Vietnam. This is the achievement of an entire team, from the choreography team, dancers, designers to the direction and support of the agencies. Hopefully, the Phu Dong Thien Vuong performance has contributed a small part in spreading the image of Vietnamese culture to international friends.”
