The 49th case of Covid-19 infection is a passenger on flight VN0054
The 71-year-old British patient is being treated in Thua Thien Hue. This is the 49th case of Covid-19 infection in Vietnam.
At 1 p.m. on March 14, 2020, the Pasteur Institute in Nha Trang announced that the test sample sent by the Center for Disease Control of Thua Thien Hue province tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, bringing the total number of Covid-19 cases in Vietnam to 49.
This is a foreign passenger on flight VN0054 from London, entering Noi Bai International Airport on the morning of March 2, 2020.

The patient is a 71-year-old male, British nationality, husband, in close contact with patient number 30 (BN30).
Currently, the patient has been quarantined since March 8, 2020 and is being treated at Hue Central General Hospital.
