Recently, a commune police officer in Anh Son district, Nghe An was injured while preventing the theft of construction materials by two subjects in Linh Son commune, Anh Son.
While patrolling to ensure security and order in the commune, at 8:30 p.m. on September 16, 2013, police officer Nguyen Van Thanh discovered two subjects, Bui Van Quyen (born in 1966) and Bui Van Manh (born in 1993), residing in Hamlet 4, Linh Son Commune, Anh Son, stealing construction materials for rural roads. Immediately, comrade Thanh arrested them and requested to keep the scene intact to make a record of the case. However, father and son Quyen and Manh not only did not comply but also assaulted comrade Thanh, causing him to be injured in the mouth and had to have 5 stitches. After the incident, Anh Son District Police initiated a criminal case and prosecuted the two subjects, Quyen and Manh, for resisting law enforcement officers.
Lieutenant Colonel Dinh Bat Cam - Deputy Head of PV28 Department, on behalf of the Provincial Police leaders, presented support money to comrade Thanh who was injured while on duty.
