(Baonghean.vn) -This afternoon, March 12, the Traffic Police Team of Vinh City Police returned the Air Blade motorbike to the victim, Mr. Van Cong Quoc Lan (residing in Ba Ria Vung Tau).
Mr. Lan said: this car was stolen on November 30, 2009.
Previously, on December 28, 2011, while on patrol, using their expertise, Vinh City Traffic Police discovered Phan Huy Hoang (born in 1991), residing in Nghia Duc Commune (Nghia Dan District), driving a motorbike with a fake license plate 37Z-92708. When presenting the vehicle registration, the license plate did not match the registration. At the police station, Phan Huy Hoang stated that the motorbike was purchased at Lam Hong bus station (Binh Duong) for 28 million VND (while the value of the motorbike was about 40 million VND). Looking up the records by chassis number, engine number and coordinating with police in other localities, Vinh City Traffic Police found the owner of the motorbike, Mr. Van Cong Quoc Lan.
Mr. Van Cong Quoc Lan happily received back the car he lost 2 years ago.
Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Duy Ha - Captain of Vinh City Traffic Police said that during the peak period from November 16, 2011 to February 15, 2012, while on patrol, Vinh City Traffic Police discovered and seized 29 stolen motorbikes. Up to now, 9 motorbikes have been found and returned to the victims.
