Vinh City Police: Handled nearly 300 cases of traffic safety violations
(Baonghean.vn) -Following the direction of the Ministry of Public Security, Nghe An Provincial Police and Vinh City Police have launched a peak period of inspection and control at traffic intersections to ensure order and traffic safety in the area before, during and after the 2014 Lunar New Year.
Based on the plan of the Vinh City Police Commander, in the first 3 days of the campaign (from December 1-3), the Traffic Police Team - Vinh City Police organized 13 shifts, with nearly 400 officers and soldiers participating in patrolling and controlling at key points and intersections in the city.

As a result, in 3 days of deployment, the traffic police team - Vinh City Police has recorded nearly 300 cases of traffic safety violations, including 31 cars, more than 240 motorbikes, and more than 20 electric bicycles. The team has penalized 290 cases of road traffic law violations, collecting fines of more than 120 million VND to the state treasury.
In the coming days, together with other forces, Vinh City Police will strengthen administrative management of social order, check temporary residence, temporary absence, business lines, fight against all kinds of crimes and social evils, the city's traffic police force will continue to maintain teams on duty, patrol and control vehicles participating in traffic, contributing to maintaining order and safety in the city.
