(Baonghean) -At 1:30 p.m. on September 10, a passenger bus with license plate 37N 6434 traveling on Tang Lang Road (to Tan Ky) caused an accident in Dong Thanh Commune (Yen Thanh), killing Nguyen Khac Anh Tram (born 2002). However, taking advantage of the rain and deserted road, the driver who caused the accident left the scene.

Thanks to public information and timely intervention, in the afternoon of the same day, Yen Thanh District Police urgently detained the driver who caused the accident.

The side cargo cover came off and caused the fatal accident.

It is known that the cause of the accident was because the passenger bus's cargo compartment cover was not fastened tightly, so when it passed through a bad road, it popped open, hitting the victim in the head, killing him on the spot.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Van - Head of the Traffic Police Team of Yen Thanh District, recommended that passenger vehicles with side cargo compartments need to have their lids re-inspected by the authorities to avoid causing unfortunate accidents like the above.
