Continuing the regular meeting of the Provincial Party Standing Committee in January 2019, delegates listened to a report summarizing the inspection and supervision work in 2018 and the direction and tasks for 2019.
According to the report presented by the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, in 2018, Party committees at all levels inspected 1,971 Party organizations and 3,663 Party members, of which 2,525 Party members were Party committee members at all levels. The inspections concluded that 88 Party organizations did not perform well, of which 55 Party organizations had shortcomings and violations; 434 Party members did not perform well, of which 94 Party members had shortcomings and violations...

Inspection committees at all levels inspected 532 organizations and 1,124 party members when there were signs of violations, including 577 committee members at all levels. Through inspections of party organizations and party members when there were signs of violations, it was shown that inspection committees at all levels basically identified this as a key task as stipulated in the Party Charter; after inspection, they clearly concluded shortcomings, seriously handled them, ensuring education, deterrence, and prevention of violations...
Many inspection committees have identified inspection subjects through processing information sources from anonymous and fake denunciations, reports from the press and public opinion, to effectively conduct inspections for signs of violations.
Party committees at all levels have disciplined 15 party organizations, of which 14 were reprimanded and 1 was warned. Among the disciplined party organizations, there were 8 party committees, standing committees of grassroots party committees and 7 party cells.
The Party Committee disciplined 891 Party members (an increase of 18% compared to 2017). Some units that disciplined many Party members were: Thanh Chuong, Quynh Luu, Dien Chau, Hoang Mai, Yen Thanh. Inspection Committees at all levels disciplined 259 Party members (an increase of 34% compared to 2017), of which 124 Party members were Party Committee members.
The main violations are things that party members are not allowed to do, violations of the principle of democratic centralism, violations of population and family planning policies, lack of responsibility, lax leadership, state management of land, resources, minerals, finance, banking, investment, basic construction...
