Nghe An Provincial Policeand Tan Ky District Police coordinated with local authorities to organize the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a "House of Gratitude" for the family of Senior Lieutenant Truong Van Duong - a police officer of Nghia Thai Commune, Tan Ky District.
Senior Lieutenant Truong Van Duong (born in 1988) has a particularly difficult situation. His family has two brothers. His father was a commune police officer who died while chasing criminals when the two brothers were young. His mother was often sick and had to raise two children alone, so life was difficult.
With the support of the authorities at all levels, in 1992 the family was supported to build a 2-room house of gratitude, but it has now seriously deteriorated. In 2015, comrade Duong himself had a traffic accident on his way to work, and to this day he still suffers from the after-effects and must receive regular treatment.
Faced with that situation, Nghe An Provincial Police reported and proposed, and received attention and support from the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the "Comradely Love Fund" and the Ministry of Public Security to build a "House of Love" with a budget of 150 million VND.
On this occasion, Tan Ky District Police, Nghia Dong Commune Party Committee - People's Committee also presented 20 million VND to support the family of Senior Lieutenant Truong Van Duong to build a new, more spacious house./.
