Delegates need to spend more time meeting and listening to people's thoughts.

(Baonghean.vn)During the National Assembly sessions, many responsible delegates, pursuing and giving opinions, defending the most pressing issues of the people, mentioned before the National Assembly such as: The need to build dormitories for students, policies for people with meritorious services to the country, and health care for the people.

Although the Government has recently had a policy of building dormitories for students, in my opinion, there are still very few and it is not a mandatory condition for universities. Reality shows that many families have to tighten their belts, sometimes have to work for hire, work as maids to send their children to school.

How many students have to wash dishes in restaurants to earn money to go to school, but when they get into university, they have no place to live, not enough money to rent a room, so they have to rent a small room, surrounded by noisy karaoke, drugs, and street life. We have done it, but we need to do it faster so that students can have dormitories. The government has lent money to students, but it is still slow and not convenient for students. In the past, when we got into university, the State supported us. So now, lending money to students is something that needs to be done.

Regarding the policy for people with revolutionary contributions, voters questioned many cases that have not been resolved because there are no witnesses, because there are not enough documents, papers...

In addition, there are policies that need to be amended to reduce disadvantages for those who have contributed to the country. For example, those who are subject to Decree 176 and some other decrees are no longer suitable. It is recommended that the Government and the National Assembly change to reduce disadvantages for them - including: soldiers, police, youth volunteers, and local cadres during the war to protect the Fatherland.

Regarding public health care, currently, frontline, high-tech hospitals, and large hospitals still have 2 or 3 patients per bed, sometimes having to lie in the hallway. Hospitals that are reputable to patients, especially public hospitals, need to increase beds, supply to meet demand, and not control the number of beds. In addition, the staff of good doctors and good technicians also needs to be recruited three or four times more than current regulations.

Some people ask, where is the land to add more beds? - There have been many opinions on this issue in the 12th National Assembly suggesting that those hospitals should be moved outside the city: there is a large area of land, good climate, to build medical centers, have highways to the hospital, have full equipment, have hotels for relatives to stay. It can be called Bach Mai Medical Center, Viet Duc Medical Center, Cancer Treatment Center, Cho Ray Medical Center, Hue Medical Center... Only then will there be no situation of 2 people, 3 people sleeping in 1 bed.

Through meetings with voters, we have found that voters want National Assembly deputies to spend more time meeting voters to listen to their thoughts, aspirations, suggestions and recommendations; at the same time, deputies need to maximize their capacity, demonstrate their role as representatives of the people, contribute important opinions on the National Assembly forum, and bring benefits to the people.
