Delegates attending the 13th Congress laid wreaths and paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 25, before the opening of the preparatory session of the 13th National Party Congress, delegates attending the 13th National Party Congress visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum.
The delegation included Politburo members: Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc; National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan; Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Quoc Vuong; Party Central Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Tran Thanh Man, along with other Politburo members, Party Central Committee Secretaries and delegates attending the 13th National Congress of the Party.

The delegates laid flowers and visited the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum - the founder and trainer of our Party, the great leader of the Party and the Vietnamese people. The wreath of the delegation bore the inscription: "Forever grateful to the great President Ho Chi Minh".

In the sacred moment, the delegates expressed their infinite gratitude to the beloved leader of the Vietnamese people, the great teacher of the Vietnamese revolution, the national liberation hero, who devoted his life to the independence of the Fatherland and the freedom and happiness of the people. He laid the ideological foundation for the Party's revolutionary cause, leading the country firmly on the path of innovation, advancing towards socialism.

Respectfully remembering President Ho Chi Minh, the delegates vowed to wholeheartedly follow the path he outlined, determined to build a clean and strong Party, promote the strength of the entire nation and socialist democracy, comprehensively and synchronously promote the renovation process, firmly protect the Fatherland, maintain a peaceful and stable environment; and strive to soon turn Vietnam into a basically modern industrialized country.

Next, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc; National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan; Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Quoc Vuong; Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Tran Thanh Man, along with Politburo members, Party Central Committee Secretaries and delegates attending the 13th National Congress of the Party laid flowers and offered incense at the Monument to Heroic Martyrs, in memory of the nation's outstanding children who heroically sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. The delegation's wreath bore the inscription: "Forever grateful to the Heroic Martyrs".

The 13th National Congress of the Party took place from January 25 to February 2, 2021 in Hanoi. The Congress was attended by 1,587 delegates, representing more than 5.1 million Party members nationwide.
