(Baonghean.vn) - On October 10, a number of localities, units, and businesses continued to visit and support people affected by natural disasters in the province.

*Red Cross Society of Bac Giang provinceThe delegation led by Ms. Pham Thi Duyen - Member of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, President of the Bac Giang Provincial Red Cross Society presented necessities including: rice, bottled water, instant noodles, milk... to the Nghe An Provincial Red Cross Society to help flood victims.

The delegation also directly visited and presented 100 gifts (each containing 10 kg of rice, 2 boxes of instant noodles and 500,000 VND) to 100 households severely flooded in Long Xa commune and 1.5 tons of rice in Chau Nhan commune, Hung Nguyen district, with a total value of 470 million VND.

On the same day, the Nghe An Provincial Red Cross and Ky Son District Red Cross received 122 million VND from PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation - JSC. Representatives of the Association and the Company directly visited and handed over the above amount to the family whose person was swept away by the flood, 10 million VND and 56 households (2 million VND each) in Ta Ca commune, Ky Son district.

*Party cell, executive committee, working committee of the Trung Hop Front,Hung Dung Ward (Vinh City) through the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee awarded 31 million VND mobilized from 60 households of officials, party members and people in the block.

A small gift conveys the sentiments of the Party members and people of the Trung Hop bloc to the Ky Son border area, hoping that people will soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
