Localities and units organize Mid-Autumn Festival
On the occasion of the opening ceremony of the new school year 2011-2012 and the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Association for the Support of People with Disabilities and Orphans of Nghe An province visited and presented 20 gifts to 20 disabled children and orphans in Quynh Thang commune.
(Baonghean) -On the occasion of the opening ceremony of the new school year 2011-2012 and the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Association for the Support of People with Disabilities and Orphans of Nghe An province visited and presented 20 gifts to 20 disabled children and orphans in Quynh Thang commune., Quynh Luu district (each gift worth 200,000 VND) on the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival; presented to 2 disabled children who excelled in their studies and were admitted directly to university (Le Dinh Thanh in Hung Dong, Vinh City and Nguyen Minh Phu in Tho Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district (each gift worth 1,000,000 VND); visited and presented 4 gifts to disadvantaged orphans in Xuan Hoa commune, Nam Dan district who passed the university entrance exam (each gift worth 500,000 VND); presented and presented 10 gifts to 10 disabled children who excelled in their studies at the Provincial Vocational Training Center for the Disabled, worth 2 million VND.
The total gift amount is 10 million from the sponsorship fund of a number of agencies and businesses inside and outside the province.
The People's Committee of Anh Son district plans to coordinate with the Provincial Children's Support Fund, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union and Phuc Son Commune Youth Union to organize the Mid-Autumn Festival for children in Kim Tien - Phuc Son village.and also here, the Provincial Children's Support Fund, the Provincial Youth Union, and the People's Committee of Anh Son district presented 70 gifts, each worth 300,000 VND, to poor children who strive to excel in their studies in 5 communes of Phuc Son, Thach Son, Long Son, Hoi Son, and Hoa Son.
