Localities give gifts to families of policy beneficiaries on War Invalids and Martyrs Day

(Baonghean.vn) - Towards the 69th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, localities and units have organized visits and given gifts to families of war invalids, sick soldiers, and families of policy beneficiaries, demonstrating the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source".

Mr. Son:

On the afternoon of July 21, comrade Dang Thanh Tung - Secretary of Anh Son District Party Committee and representatives of district-level departments visited and presented gifts to families of war invalids, sick soldiers, and policy families in the area.

In Hoa Son commune, the delegation visited and presented gifts to the family of Mr. Bui Ngoc Quang (Hamlet 7), a 1/4 disabled veteran, and the family of Mr. Nguyen Van Huong (Hamlet 6). In Hoi Son commune, the delegation visited the families of disabled veteran Tran Thi At and disabled veteran Le Hong Phuc, and visited and presented gifts to the family of Mr. Cao Tien Nam, a relative of a martyr in the district town.

At the places visited, the delegation sent their warm greetings and expressed their deep gratitude for the sacrifices and losses of the families of the policy beneficiaries, affirming that the Party and the State are always grateful and appreciative of the blood sacrifices of the wounded soldiers and heroic martyrs in the struggles for national liberation. At the same time, they hoped that the families would always live exemplary lives to encourage their children and grandchildren to compete in developing production and building a prosperous and happy life.

On the occasion of this year's War Invalids and Martyrs Day, Anh Son district established 7 delegations to visit and give gifts to 21 communes and towns with 42 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND.

Leaders of Tan Ky district and representatives of departments, branches and organizations of the district organized delegations to directly visit, encourage and give gifts to policy families with especially difficult circumstances in the district.

At the same time, the President presented gifts to 3,593 subjects who are wounded soldiers, people participating in the resistance war who were exposed to toxic chemicals, Vietnamese heroic mothers and families of martyrs in Tan Ky district with a total value of over 733 million VND.

On the occasion of the anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, leaders of Do Luong district visited communes and towns to visit and present gifts to families of war invalids, sick soldiers and families with meritorious services to the country.

Through two resistance wars against foreign invaders and to protect the Fatherland, Do Luong district has 246 heroic Vietnamese mothers, of which 10 are still alive, nearly 4,100 martyrs who heroically sacrificed, 3,500 wounded soldiers and families with meritorious services to the country.
