(Baonghean.vn) - Following the steps prescribed by the Election Law, on March 17, localities in the province simultaneously organized the second round of consultation to establish a list of candidates.

After agreeing on the list of candidates, the Standing Committee of the Fatherland Front Committee of Hoang Mai town built a plan to collect opinions from voters at their place of residence in accordance with the law./.

According to regulations, the People's Council of Thanh Chuong district in the next term will elect 44 delegates./.

*Cua Lo Town: 17 people withdrew from the list of candidates for the Town People's Council.

On the morning of March 17, the Fatherland Front Committee of Cua Lo town held the second consultation conference, unanimously introducing 54 candidates for the town People's Council, term 2016 - 2021. Of which, women accounted for 37.03%; young people accounted for 27.7%; religious people accounted for 3.7% and non-Party people accounted for 9.25%. Thus, compared to the first consultation list, 17 people withdrew from the list.

Accordingly, the conference highly agreed that the total number of candidates introduced was 93, of which the percentage of women was 39.8%, the percentage of re-elected delegates was 15% and delegates under 35 years old was 28%.

The conference also agreed to establish a preliminary list of 93 candidates for the district People's Council. At the same time, it will organize to collect comments and trust from voters at the place of residence of the recommended candidates starting from March 20 and will be completed by April 12.

It is known that Dien Chau established 11 district-level constituencies. According to the province's allocation, the district elected 43 district People's Council delegates for the 2016-2021 term. By March 18, Dien Chau will complete the second round of consultations from district to commune.
