Localities organize military service examinations in 2018

(Baonghean.vn)- From December 16 to 21, the Military Service Councils of Quynh Luu, Quy Hop, and Anh Son districts organized health check-ups for young people of military age in the district.

* In 2018,Quynh Luu districtThe Provincial People's Committee assigned the target of 264 young men to join the army. Of these, 250 young men will join the military service and 14 young men will join the police service. To select enough targets and ensure quality, this time the District Military Service Council issued an order to call 520 citizens from 33 communes and towns to come for health check-ups from December 16-19.

At the end of the examination, the District Military Service Examination Council will classify the citizens' health according to Joint Circular No. 36/2011/TTLT-BYT-BQP dated October 17, 2011 of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of National Defense. To ensure the achievement of the military service target, from the beginning of the year, the Quynh Luu District Military Command has completed the Military Service Council, assigned specific tasks to each member, promoted propaganda work, reviewed, and grasped the source and number of young people of the right age, in order to carry out the military service health examination quickly, in accordance with the process, ensuring the quality and requirements set out.

* In 2018,Quy Hopwas assigned the target of 160 young men joining the army, an increase of 10 people compared to 2017 (of which 7-10% are guaranteed to have graduated from University or College). According to the assessment of the Quy Hop District Military Service Council, in general, the input quality of young men recruited this year is quite even, including both educational level and physical strength.

Up to now, Quy Hop has completed all preparations for the military transfer to ensure the target of 100% of the military personnel is met.During this time, the Quy Hop District Military Command will continue to review and advise the District Party Committee and People's Committee on the circumstances of each young person so that they can provide timely assistance after they are recruited for military service.

Along with the work of mobilizing and propagating the Law on Military Service, the sectors, communes and towns in Quy Hop district will well implement the military rear policy so that young people can feel secure when leaving to defend the Fatherland.

* In 2018,Anh Son districtwas assigned the target of selecting and calling 110 citizens to perform military service and 12 citizens to perform public security service. To select enough targets and ensure quality, in the past time, the District Military Service Council has issued an order to call more than 393 citizens from 21 communes/towns in the district to come for health check-ups.
